Custom Order Guide

CUSTOM SIZING & SHAPE:

Each rug  is individually custom made, to the client's exact size and shape specifications (we don’t hold any stock). This allows for the creation of rugs that perfectly fit the required outdoor setting.

Max width is 15ft (4.57m)

Max length is 60 ft (18.28m)

if a you requires a different shape not shown above, or a custom size not shown on the Outalux website please contact us with your custom shape or size requirement.

CUSTOM COLOR:
We can dye to match any color you need if you provide us with a color reference this could be anything from a fabric swatch to a paint chip contact us with your requirement.
For custom colors there is a 10% upcharge.

SHIPPING:
Every rug is inspected by the Outalux team before shipping and is sent direct to the customer from the factory. All large rugs will be shipped in a crate.

LEAD TIME:
This varies from 6 to 10 weeks depending on the size (on average most rugs are shipped between 6-8 weeks) Extreme oversized rugs, for example 15’ x 40’ may take a little longer.  We will keep you updated on the progress of your rug

 

The price includes free shipping anywhere in the US.

MANUFACTURING:

All our rugs are handmade one by one in India by skilled artisans. Your rugs progress is monitored at every stage of the process and is fully inspected before shipping. All rugs are finished with hand binding at the edges. Due to the hand made process there may be a slight size variance. We work to a  1 ½” tolerance.

YARN:
All our outdoor rugs are made from recycled yarn; either from recycled water bottles or recycled polyester . As the yarn uses recycled materials, there may be a very slight color shade variance from dye lot to dye lot. If multiple pieces are ordered at the same time the color shade will be the same.

CARE & CLEANING
The yarn is designed specifically for outdoor use and is easy to clean by hosing down with water and light detergent and be left to air dry. Do not use bleach for cleaning. Rugs are best not left out in extreme wet conditions.

CUSTOM BACKING OPTIONS:
Some of our rugs automatically come with a non-skid backing. For rugs without backing, we strongly recommend using with a rug pad. The Outalux rug pad is an eco friendly option constructed from a mixture of natural rubber and jute. It can be ordered separately and is custom cut to your specific rug size and shape. RETURN POLICY:
A custom rug cannot be returned once received unless:

1. There is an obvious quality issue, in which case photographic documentation will be required.
     OR
2. The rug is damaged during shipping. If this is the case, we require photographic evidence before  and after opening the packaging.
